MANAW
Vol.1

Vol.1 marks the start of a longer process: a project meant to unfold over time, consistent in approach, open in form.

MANAW began without a plan, guided by free will rather than intention.

It came from listening inward, without asking where it should arrive.

What emerged functions almost as a form of self-listening: a space where discomfort and uncertainty are allowed to surface, to linger, to soften only when they are ready. Nothing here tries to resolve itself, neither explain anything.

The EP is composed of units rather than songs, autonomous yet related, each shaped by its own desire to exist and will to be.

The sound is organic and dense, fibrous, layered in a way that feels almost physical. It presses, breathes, leaves residue; it stays close, patient, sometimes heavy, sometimes fragile, as if waiting for the listener to meet it halfway.

These unites seem to occupy space, to gather weight, to become almost touchable. Not polished into a clear form, but worked until they feel present, real, unavoidable.

The listening will unfold differently for everyone.

One person may hear harmonies where another hears friction; one may feel tension where another finds peace.

This raises quiet questions that sit beneath the surface of the work: where does singular perception begin, and where does it overlap with that of others? Is what we hear exclusively shaped by the sound itself, or by the inner world we bring to it? And what, ultimately, is perception made of?

MANAW doesn’t attempt to answer these questions, but to inhabit them, blurring the line between personal and shared perception.

The work invites a slow negotiation between inner and outer world, where meaning is not imposed but gradually sensed.

What remains is not a conclusion, but a state: dense, intimate, and unfiltered.

MANAW Vol.1 is available on all major music platforms.
